About the Friends:
The Friends of the Westborough Public Library meet monthly at the library. Check the calendar for meeting dates and times. Copies of meeting minutes are available by request from Friends President Eric Waite, ericwaite1776@hotmail.com.
The Friends hold their big book sales 2 or 3 times per year.
Funds raised by the book sales are used by the Friends to support the Library, its programs and services. The Friends currently provide many of the museum passes/discounts available to Westborough Public Library patrons.
New Members are always welcome! Please join us!
Donation Guidelines for Book Sales:
The Friends accept donations of gently used books, CDs, DVDs, videogames, and audiobooks --- and current (within 5 years) textbooks. Please, no cassette tapes, VHS tapes, outdated encyclopedias, workbooks that are written in, or books that are badly worn.
Donations may be brought to the Westborough Public Library at 55 West Main Street (Please use the Parkman Street entrance/foyer) any time during the Library's normal business hours.
The Friends sponsor an ongoing mini-sale. Check out the shelves on the main floor by the elevator! There is also a cart of children's books for sale outside the Children's Room.
